News Service): Paige was suspicious when her rival wanted to meet with
her. So she suggested her own hotel room. At first, everything
was all nice and sweet and then Nicole made her pitch. If they
joined forces, they would surely win the auction and they could split the
profits when they sold the artwork. Paige thought that this was a
desperate move by a desperate woman. Nicole's company needed to win
this auction to stay in business. Paige showed her the door!
She would easily defeat any bid by Nicole. There was no reason to
partner with her. As Nicole left, she told Paige that she would
regret her decision. About 30 minutes later, Nicole returned and just walked through the unlocked door. She was holding a bunch of rope! Paige thought this was a joke, but Nicole made it clear that she was going to put Paige 'on Ice' as the old-time gangsters used to put it. Paige tried to leave, but Nicole easily subdued her. Paige found herself being bound to a chair. |
